Yes, I am contracted with IEHP, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, and Anthem Blue Cross.
If I am not contracted with your insruace, your insurance plan may offer out-of-network benefits that will reimburse you for a portion of therapy costs. If you would like to utilize these benefits, I can provide you with a monthly document called a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

Our initial consultation is a casual, 15-minute phone or video call. It is a space for us to connect as fellow humans first. You can share a brief overview of what is bringing you to therapy, and you can ask me any questions about how I work. The primary goal is simply to see if we feel like a good clinical fit for one another before making a commitment.

The first official session is an intake session. We will go at a pace that feels comfortable for your nervous system—we are not going to dive straight into processing your deepest traumas on day one. Instead, we will talk about your history through an attachment lens, discuss your goals, and begin building foundational coping and emotional regulation skills so you feel entirely safe and supported.
-
EMDR is a powerful tool, but it requires a solid foundation. The early phases of EMDR focus entirely on "resourcing"—which means ensuring you have the mind-body tools, grounding techniques, and emotional regulation skills needed to safely navigate processing raw memories. We will begin EMDR processing only when both you and your nervous system feel completely ready and stable.

Because healing is a continuous journey rather than a rigid final destination, there is no one-size-fits-all timeline. Some clients find relief and reach their goals in a few months, while others utilize therapy as an ongoing, long-term space to deepen their connection to their core selves. We will check in regularly to evaluate your progress and ensure therapy is serving you.

I require a 24-hour notice for all cancellations or rescheduled appointments. Sessions canceled with less notice than that are typically subject to the full session fee.
However, because I know that life can be chaotic and unexpected things come up, I give every client two "freebies" to use each calendar year where the late fee is waived. I want to honor that you are human, too!
